I’m the woman behind the scenes — usually with coffee in one hand and 47 tabs open in my brain.
Keani Hawai‘i began as a humble handmade jewelry line I started at home in 2011—while raising babies, dreaming big, and working late into the night. I had no investors, just passion, creativity, and a desire to bring a little more beauty into the world.
What started with my first Mermaid Scales collection has grown into a multi-store fashion brand rooted here in Maui—with three boutique locations and a thriving online store.
I didn’t build this brand to chase trends. I built it because I believe what we wear affects how we show up. I wanted women to feel seen, celebrated, and strong—not just through fashion, but in their own lives.
Now, after 14 years of creating and growing, I’m stepping back into the heart of this brand to share more of the story behind the style—faith, motherhood, reinvention, burnout, beauty, and what it means to keep showing up.
